It was a lovely day in the sunshine yesterday.

We met lots of folks – readers and otherwise, made some great connections, and even sold some books!

We even sold out of our copies of Abigail’s thriller, The Violence of Fire! (not to worry, we’ll have more copies on hand at the next event)

I call that a successful day!

Be sure to hit up your local farmers’ markets this season to discover the fantastic homemade crafts, food, maybe and even authors in your own backyard!

The next event is Thursday, August 1st in Pickering. Join us to celebrate Emancipation Day in Esplanade Park.

Hi! My name is Abigail Grimes, I’m a multi-genre indie author or fiction, poetry and prose. My passion for books has led me to not only write them, but to bring that joy of reading to others with my Indie Book Store, Quips & Quills. My shop will feature work from my very talented friends, both self and traditionally published, as well as other exciting titles from around coast to coast.
